THANK YOU, PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY!

What a fantastic day together on October 23! Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, willingness to play with ideas, and commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences for gifted students.

One thing that really struck me about Prince William County is just how fortunate you are to have such a large community of gifted educators, along with the resources, structures, and support to do this work well. Not every district has that. Don't underestimate the power of what you have, especially one another.

My encouragement? Lean on each other. Make connections across schools. Share what works, what flops, and what you're still figuring out. Borrow ideas, remix them, and make them your own. Some of the best professional learning happens when educators realize they don't have to figure everything out alone.

I've gathered resources from our day together below, along with a few extras to keep the thinking going. My hope is that you'll find something worth revisiting, trying, or sharing with a colleague.

And please remember, I'm part of your extended team, too! I'm only an email away at [email protected]. Reach out with questions, share something you've tried, or tell me how an idea played out in your classroom. I genuinely love hearing what happens AFTER our time together.

Keep challenging expectations, creating opportunities, and making learning something worth getting excited about!

With appreciation,

Brian
