I laughed at you when you first appeared because I thought you were essentially a GIANT iPod touch. Why would I ever want one of these? It's not even a phone.
Then, you came into my life, and I couldn't live without you as a constant media companion. With the addition of the Apple Pencil and an upgrade to the iPad Pro, you changed my life and the way that I interact with information in a wide variety of settings.
Yet, sometimes I feel like you have pushed humanity dangerously close to a life in hover chairs aboard the Axiom from the Pixar film Wall-E.
Nevertheless, I love you. Thanks for being the one device that rises above all others. At least for now. Enjoy your day iPad. Here's to another 10 years.
